    Worksheet
This is a great twist on an interesting fact that wood frogs can freeze in the winter and thaw in the spring to resume living. Students evaluate two claims and evidence statements and then write their own. Students then share out and evaluate each others as a class. This worksheet helps students to build their claim evidence and reasoning skills.

    Assessment
This quiz assesses students knowledge of the structure of the cell membrane, lipid bilayer, phospholipids, how cells interact with their environment, semi-permeability, passive transport, diffusion, osmosis, facilitated diffusion, active transport, pumps, endocytosis, and exocytosis.

    Experiment
In this short lab, students take a sample of cheek cells from themselves using a toothpick, put a stain on the slide along with the cheek cells, and observe the nucleus and cell membrane under a microscope. Students also answer analysis questions about the procedure and cells.

    Experiment
The main objective of this Mini-teach is to explain how Vitamin E inhibits the oxidation of phospholipid and glycolipid molecules in cell membranes possibly preventing the aging of cells.
